There are many types of beer worldwide, so of course, beer glasses come in various shapes and sizes.
Among Taiwanese beer glasses, the most classic size is the 143cc beer glass!
Although 143cc is not an official capacity in Taiwan, it is the size that best preserves the beer’s freshness.
It is said that during World War II, due to supply shortages, the Taiwan Monopoly Bureau deliberately reduced the size of the glass so that people would feel like their drinks were never quite finished.

A 600ml bottle of Taiwan Beer can fill about four 143cc beer glasses.
“You toast, I follow” has become the warmest form of connection among Taiwanese people.
