Among beer glasses in Taiwan, the most classic size is the 143cc beer glass!
Although 143cc is not an official standard capacity in Taiwan, it is the ideal size to preserve the freshness of the beer.
It is said that during World War II, due to supply shortages, the Taiwan Monopoly Bureau deliberately reduced the size of the glass to leave drinkers wanting more.

A 600ml bottle of Taiwan Beer can fill about four 143cc beer glasses.
The phrase "You cheers, I drink at will" has become the warmest way Taiwanese people connect with each other.
