In Taiwan, the most iconic beer glass holds exactly 143cc.
Though not an official standard, this size is ideal for preserving beer’s freshness.
It’s said that during WWII, due to supply shortages, the government reduced the size of glassware so drinkers would savor each sip longer.

A 600ml bottle of Taiwan Beer fills about four 143cc glasses.
